About Me

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2006, and have experience in a range of education and clinic settings with clients of all ages.

I've worked with adults as a Person-Centred Counsellor since 2015, in general and more focused counselling organisations, and in independent practice.

Alongside and beyond this, I've offered support and teaching in educational, residential and healthcare settings for over 30 years.

This includes writing and leading Masters level training for speech and language therapists, and running university clinics.

My desire to help others to find, express, or re-find their 'Voice' reflects my own journey in several ways.

I experienced physical problems with my spoken voice that significantly impacted work and personal life. I 'lost' my voice as a performing singer, for a mix of physical and psychological reasons.

Seeking help, I benefitted hugely from the expertise and warm relationship I experienced with therapists working alongside me.

Whichever therapy you are considering, I'm deeply committed to supporting you to nurture your Voice, and through that, the essence of who you are.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss an introductory session for either therapy, please get in touch with me today.
